(Formerly The Milspouse Mastermind Show). The go to podcast for military spouses who want to live with more meaning and less overwhelm!
Have you ever felt stuck, lonely, overwhelmed, frustrated or unfulfilled as a military spouse?
Are you tired of putting your own dreams, goals and plans on hold; waiting for some future season to build a life you love?
Do you sometimes feel like you’ve lost sight of who you are and what you have to offer?
More Than a Milspouse is here to empower you to GET UNSTUCK, CRAFT A LIFE WITH PURPOSE, and show you that YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT FOR TOMORROW TO CHASE YOUR DREAMS.
In this podcast, we dig into all things military spouse life, from the mind and growth work that has to happen in order for you to completely get unstuck and feel fulfilled every single day – YES, IT’S POSSIBLE – to practically navigating the unpredictability of military life.
Through honest conversations and expert interviews, we’ll help you set goals, combat stress and anxiety, incorporate self-care as a military spouse, boost your mental and emotional health, and prioritize what matters most, so that you can pursue your life, career and business dreams (with more joy and less overwhelm as a military family).
👋 Hi, I’m Christine, a seasoned military spouse, marketing strategist, mom of three, and coffee connoisseur. I am all-too-familiar with the challenges that come with frequent moves, deployments, TDYs and trying to balance military life with your own dreams and passions.
After four moves and three babies in four years, I became an accidental stay at home mom. I began a journey to find myself again and figure out how to love the life I was actually living, rather than the one I had imagined for myself.
If there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s this: You were made for more! More than the managing of schedules, keeping up with kiddos and holding down the home front.
YOU have something uniquely valuable to offer, and when you pursue the things that light your heart on fire, you trade frustration for FULFILLMENT and isolation for IDENTITY, CONNECTION, and a life of IMPACT.
I’m here to help you thrive as a military spouse, get clarity on what fuels and fills you, and give you practical tools and strategies to craft a life of MEANING and PURPOSE today.
Whether you are an Army spouse, an Air Force spouse, a Marine spouse, a Navy spouse, Coast Guard spouse, or a Space Force spouse, this is the podcast for you!
Friend, it’s time to reclaim your life and dreams and discover who you are meant to be because together we can change the world!

264.🎉 Five Years of More Than a Milspouse 🎉 Here's What I've Learned
Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
Five years ago, I hit record on the first episode of More Than a Milspouse. What started as a conversation about military spouse identity, career, and life beyond the uniform has grown into a space where military spouses can talk honestly about purpose, transitions, and building a life that feels like their own.
In this special anniversary episode of the More Than a Milspouse Podcast, I’m reflecting on what five years of conversations with military spouses have taught me about identity, resilience, personal and professional growth, and navigating military life.
This episode is both a celebration and a reflection on what it means to be more than a military spouse while navigating deployments, PCS moves, and constant life transitions.
Better Together,
Christine

263. The Secret to Making Habits Stick as a Military Spouse
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Wednesday Mar 04, 2026
Ever feel like you know what habits would support you—but actually sticking to them feels impossible in military life?
Between PCS moves, deployments, unpredictable schedules, and constant transitions, most habit advice simply doesn’t work for military spouses. And the problem isn’t discipline; it’s design.
In this episode of the More Than a Milspouse Podcast, we’re breaking down what to focus on if you want sustainable change.
This isn’t about rigid routines or doing more. It’s about building habits that flex with military life, support your identity, and work even when everything else feels uncertain.
You don’t need more willpower. You need habits that are built for military life.
Better Together,
Christine

262. Why Willpower Isn't Enough (And What Actually Works for Military Spouses)
Thursday Feb 26, 2026
Thursday Feb 26, 2026
Why does change feel so hard—especially for military spouses? If you’ve ever told yourself you just need more willpower, motivation, or discipline, this episode challenges that belief. In this episode of More Than a Milspouse, we unpack why habit change often fails in military life and why stress, PCS moves, deployments, and constant unpredictability make traditional approaches to change ineffective.
You’ll learn the three biggest myths about change, why willpower and motivation don’t work long-term, and how shame keeps military spouses stuck in cycles of starting over. We’ll also introduce a more compassionate, sustainable approach to habit change—one that works with real military life, not against it.
Better Together,
Christine

261. Sustainable Self-Care for Burned-Out Military Spouses with Vimbo Watson
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Tuesday Feb 03, 2026
Burnout isn’t a personal failure; it’s a physiological response to prolonged stress. Unfortunately, it often appears in military spouse life more frequently than we realize.
In this episode, we delve deeper into what burnout actually is, why military spouses are particularly vulnerable to it, and how it often disguises itself as “just being tired,” staying busy, or pushing through another season. We talk about the stress cycle, early warning signs of burnout, and why self-care doesn’t work when we don’t first understand what our bodies are asking for.
You’ll also hear practical, accessible ways to start interrupting burnout — not through expensive routines or doing more, but by creating margin, completing the stress cycle, setting better boundaries, and building supportive relationships that make military life more sustainable.
If you’ve been functioning but feel disconnected, depleted, or like you’re losing yourself in the process, this conversation will help you name what’s happening and take the first steps toward feeling like yourself again.
Better Together,
Christine

260. Your Secret Weapon in Dealing With Stress and Overwhelm
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
Stress and overwhelm are things most of us have learned to push through—especially in military life. But in this episode of More Than a Milspouse, I’m sharing why stress has such a powerful impact on our ability to change, grow, and even enjoy our lives and what we can do about it.
This episode is about learning to listen to your body, create safety first, and build a life that moves you out of survival mode—even when military life remains unpredictable.
In this episode, I cover:
- Why stress makes change feel so difficult
- How military life keeps many spouses stuck in fight-or-flight
- What nervous system regulation actually means (and what it doesn’t)
- The difference between reacting and responding under stress
- Small daily practices that support long-term regulation
Your body is not the problem—it’s your secret weapon. And when you learn to listen instead of push through, real change becomes possible.
Better Together,
Christine

259. Gratitude, Identity, and Growth in Military Life with Samantha Mans
Tuesday Jan 20, 2026
Tuesday Jan 20, 2026
What happens when the career you love, the identity you built, and the life you planned all change at once? In this episode, I chat with military spouse and entrepreneur Samantha Mans to talk about identity, anxiety, gratitude, and staying present through constant transitions. Samantha shares how a simple gratitude practice helped her navigate deployments, motherhood, and frequent moves—and how that practice eventually grew into a journal and business designed to support other military spouses. This conversation is a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, small mindset shifts can make a powerful difference.

Christine

Tuesday Nov 04, 2025
Do you have an idea or dream that’s been sitting on your heart, but you just can’t seem to make it happen? Maybe you’ve tried setting goals, making plans, or forcing yourself to take action… but it still feels hard.
You don’t need more willpower to make things happen; you need more support.

In this episode, we’re unpacking the often-overlooked factors that help you move into a “flow state”, so you can create, grow, and take action in a way that feels good, not draining.

255. After The Move: The Mental Load of Unboxing Your Life
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
Tuesday Oct 21, 2025
Moving isn’t just about changing houses and unpacking boxes. Sometimes it’s everything that comes after the actual move that really wears you down. In this episode, I’m opening up about the hidden mental load that follows a PCS and sharing what I’ve learned about actually getting settled, not just unpacked.
I’ll walk you through simple ways to make your new house feel like home, rebuild your routines, find your people, and give yourself grace as you figure out life in a new place. Because the truth is, it’s not the move itself that drains us — it’s the months after.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in transition or exhausted from trying to “get it together” again, this one’s for you.
Better Together,
Christine
